Significant areas of the site will be set aside for Open Space and Nature Conservation purposes. The largest of the open spaces will comprise:

• High Point Neighbourhood Park – a large informal parkland next to Leominster primary school with long range views south over the countryside.

• Ryelands & River Arrow Neighbourhood Park – an expansive area of green space north of the River Arrow providing recreational opportunities for woodland walks, kickabout spaces and views over the wetlands.

Other important ‘Green Infrastructure’ components include:

• Areas for nature conservation.

• Allotments.

• Play Areas, including spaces for older children and teenagers, younger children and toddlers.
